I Need An Assistant!
It gives me great pleasure to announce that I am looking for an assistant to help out with the twice weekly Promote Your Post live curation show that I host. Ever since the show has started it has proven to be a very popular event, prompting the addition of a second weekly show to help contend with demand. Now I would like to give it a whole new dimension by asking for an assistant to jump on board and provide another dynamic to the show.
Ever since I pitched the concept of the show to last September I was met with a very supportive attitude. It was great to see that
believed in the show and gave it a chance, thus securing a Whaleshares sponsorship. I owe a big thank you to
and of course
who is the founder of the Whaleshares project. For those of you that don't already know Whaleshares is an initiative that significantly helps minnows in the Steemit community gain fairer rewards for their posts.
Is it you?
The idea for the assistant host is that the role will be filled on a rotating basis, therefore giving not just one person a chance to host but many of you. The role would be offered on a weekly rota so that if you are selected you would help me present not just one of the weekly shows but both of them. Of course if this was not feasible there is a possibility we could work out something so that you just present one show, but giving you the chance to be an assistant host for two shows would really strengthen your curation skills and provide you with a more solid insight to curation. You will never host for more than 45 minutes per show. You will be paid 100 Whaleshares for each show you co-host, so you can earn an additional 200 Whaleshares if you would like.
The great thing about having an assistant host with a show like Promote Your Post is that with two people analysing and discussing content it will bring about differing perspectives, especially when it comes to evaluating posts that are subjective in nature. However, even when it comes to objective content two minds are always better than one.
Or maybe you?
The ideal candidate would be someone who has been on the Steemit platform for a number of months. You should have a critical eye for content and be an active content producer on Steemit yourself. You should also have the ability to be constructive and diplomatic in your critique of other people's work. And it is very important that you can provoke a positive discussion with presenters and engage with the audience.
I do hope many of you will consider applying. I'm sure you will find it an enjoyable and rewarding experience. If you turn out to be proficient in the role you will be asked to come back and co-host again, should you wish to have another chance. So if you would like to be my assistant for the show please resteem this post as I want it to travel far and wide so that it can reach out to as many people as possible. Then leave a comment expressing an interest in the role and I will come and find you on Discord for a chat.
