First article - It's an #introduceyourself
Cool, nice to have him here, I can see the benefits
Second one - How I made 15k with one article
Cool again, he is impressed and he shares that
Third one - How he made more money and interview with and
Looks nice, but kinda of doing it for the money and how nice it is to get rich when you have hundreds of thousands of followers out of Steemit
Fourth one - About how you should stop being angry that others (mostly him) making money on Steemit -
He tells us why he is the chosen one to make money, because of his hardwork and why he deserves this, so you should not be angry
Fifth one - How to become a Steemit "Millionaire" (Steemillionaire)
This one is a shitty article, done by hundreds of people (Even I did one, right at the beginning, because I thought this is value and found out it's not) - this is also the trigger of this situation
Sixth one - Crying that he was downvoted
As an opinion (just mine, don't take it personally):
- When you are flagged, that's feedback from the market. The way how you take that feedback, it's your responsibility.
- A "whale" has the same right to downvote as I do. If I had been downvoting him, he would not give a fuck, this leading us to the third point
- It seems to me that this is also money and reputation related. You should not care as much about the money (we can see that in every post he mentions how he did a lot of cash, really easy) and also that his reputation has lowered (this means that you are not bringing value here, so people noticed). These 2 combined, took the post down, with more than a few downvotes.
- Blaming just one user for all of this is not right. I know 2 articles related to the situation and they kind of explain how he is promoting Steemit in a wrong way, he is using his reputation to write successful, but not qualitative content, and also making Steemit to look like one of the thousands of clickbaits on the internet (click here, write shit and earn a million dollars). I bet that from those 1000-2000-3000 users he brought here, 95% are disappointed
- I have more points but I think these are the main ones. There are some good point also, but not significant, so they don't matter.
Remember, this is my opinion, I can share it, I can even get downvoted for it, but this is a free platform, so you can do what you wish.
LATER EDIT: If voting power is used to boost a crappy post, it will pass without even batting an eye, but the opposite seems to be the spark for a shit storm.
