Just as promised , I bring you the report of how our activity as steemcare went. I will start by saying that so far so good steemcare outreach was a wonderful experience both for us and the children we went to visit. On the 2/09/2017 the steemcare members ,
,
and myself
set out on the amazing journey to put smile on the faces of the less privileged. We set out at about 10am in the morning to the market to buy the food items, stationeries, toileteries and other things.

After the purchase at the market, we all headed to the orphanage home. The name of the orphanage home which is solid rock orphanage is located at Ile-ife, Osun State. The home was formed by the old widow we know as “mama.” Mama has some hearing problems and so she works with her child Mrs. Adesiyan who is always around to receive visitors. According to Mrs. Adesiyan, mama was called by God to open up the orphanage home single-handedly as a widow and that was how her orphanage journey started. The orphanage has about Nine children presently all in elementary schools and some adults they sponsor in the university.
We were able to also inquire how they get help and donations of which they told us that some good Samaritans also comes just like we did to assist them. We played with the children, spent quality time with them and eventually presented our gifts. We also promised that we would continue to support in our own little ways to make them happy and to help keep the ministry in place and running.

all paired up with lovely babies. Our dear Mrs. Adesiyan at the extreme right carrying one of the babies was not also excluded from the picture.
More coming from the steemcare members as we couldn't help but spend quality time with the children.
carrying the two out of the triplet, I guess if he could he would have carried them all. Its all about the love for the children.
bonded so well with the tripplets so well you might want to think he is there father. Well this is what this is all about, being parents to the orphans.
Well seem like wants twins for himself, as he was always fond of caring two babies at the same time... suits him though. As for@jade56 she went home with smiles feeling happy that Gloria one of the tripplets liked her a lot.
hahaha... Well I was feeling like a mother already as baby Okiki whose mum died during childbirth felt relaxed in my arms and I was tempted and felt like taking her home.
I didn't think I would see myself in any of the pictures though, but walaaa! I did. The children all had a nice time and it made our visit worthwhile.
The take home package
Steemcare was able to put smiles on the faces of the young children with the little it could afford. We learnt through this outreach that happiness those not really have to come from bigger things but can also come from small efforts. It therefore means that you can always make someone smile no matter how little and this has always been our number one goal as the steemcare group.
Little amount of help opens door to more blessings and so we are not going to stop here, we intend reaching out to other homes and familiarize with more motherless and orphanage homes. At the end of the day we all had a good time feeling fulfilled and peaceful within. Hence, I enjoin you to reach out to those around you and put smiles on faces always.
