This is a snapshot taken by a friend of mine a few hours ago.
Two women having a business transaction (buying and selling) right in the middle of a river.
For some reason I do not consider the pathetic state of hardship depicted by the picture but celebrate the fighting spirit of survival portrayed by these women.
I am particularly touched by the rugged seller who, against all odds, made a floating boat her shop. Imagine the number of items displayed in her "store".
I celebrate every struggling African (particularly women). Keep up the fight, freedom is surer and closer than ever.
Of a truth, Africans never give up!
