How did YOU Become Steemian

Steemians! I want you to tell me how and why you became Steemian.

This will be short post since it is my first one.

I made my Steem account two days ago and I'll try to be active blogger here on Steemit. Firstly, I want to know how did YOU hear about Steemit and what made you think: "Hmm, I want to create an account here."

I want to know how did you hear about it, from whom and why you decided to create Steemit account. Write your answers in comments so I can read them all :)
