It's been a week since I joined Steemit. Thanks to my friend .
This morning when I logged in I saw that my open mic week 39 entry has 100+ votes!
I was super excited.
Then I saw that it was Trending in the Open mic tag!
Now this is great and I am really happy that being a minnow and all, right in my first week I could achieve this.

Then the good people in my Indian discord channel told me about all the music contests going on. And I've learnt a lot about the cryptocurrency from here and the videos on my friend 's youtube channel Steemit Buddy.
It's a whole new world and a whole lotta learning for me which I love and is very exciting.
Steemit is a great platform for creators like me. Coz all we require from the audience is a bit of appreciation for the efforts. Everybody learns and gets better with time, but a pat on the back (and some money to go with it) goes a long way to inspire you to keep making the efforts.
And this trending post has done exactly that for me. It has inspired me to keep on going and making even better content.
So to whoever submitted my post in curie I say this:
