Im writing this because I am getting a bit sick and tired of men complaining that woman make easy money on Steem-it.
High earning woman are getting comments on steem-it, that they are getting money because they look good or that they are female or anything else that is quite offensive in my opinion, by pointing out that they make money because of their looks and implying its not their content. I made a joke on the circle-jerk-post in the trending list, by saying I maybe should flash my tits, on one hand its funny and might sound innocent, but actually I was quite disappointed that again woman were called out to make easy money, as if that is in any way a big problem on this platform (actually there is remarkably little amount of tits).
The female bloggers and vloggers, might put make-up on and make it look good, to me that is because they have eye for detail. And yes they are female, and yes they will sound female and look female, and you know what I am glad they are here! Lets please step away from the" woman get more attention" on Steemit, and embrace them and invite them. There aren't enough woman that know about crypto currencies, there are woman that will be left behind in the growth that will happen in the next year(s), and mostly men will profit of the crypto growth. When I see these woman on steemit, I am proud of them. And I feel ashamed that nothing has changed in the male brain since decades. We woman are still being calling out for being different. Indeed being female means that you are not male, and therefore look female. Indeed there are certain skills that are prone to be more female than male. Indeed there are females on this platform that look good and make nice flogs, but they actually put effort in it, and the effort shows.
The beauty of crypto currencies is that it could give woman power back. Woman could get liberated in countries where they don't have self-control, if they are able to earn steem with their steemit account.
Could you imagine that? giving woman their independence back, as they wont be controlled anymore by being financially dependent on men. That is my dream. And the unfortunate part is that in the poorest parts of the world, currently a lot of woman flash their body, to become financially independent from men, because they don't have another option. Its a catch 22, isn't it?
Please, by all means, if you hate that woman are flashing their tits on steem-it, than don't upvote them, but don't bitch about it, and certainly not at women that are adding quality to the platform, without showing their body off, but just are.... women
