Remember to use multiple sources to gather your "news", your version of events. Don't take any one source at face value. Test sources against each other. Drop sources that are often inaccurate. Value sources that have been consistent. Use online and offline sources. Use transparent communication such as comments and replies to discuss the topic with others. Ask for others' sources and look into them. Generate an overall picture of the topic and then look into as many of the details as you can.
It's not easy these days to get an accurate picture of our entire world's events, but with the tools available to us and a logical mind, we can still overcome falsehoods and corruption. Power to the people.
