If you are like me, you may find several articles on Steemit so useful that you would want to save them somewhere for future reading. However, at the moment, Steemit does not provide any Bookmarks or Favorites option. Therefore, to bookmark we'll have to take the help of the browser. Here, I am assuming that you would be using the Google Chrome browser. But I'm sure you can do similar thing with other browsers too.
The simplest but ugliest way would be to just bookmark an article. But in that way, you would be cluttering your bookmarks with a lot of articles. So, a better way is to create a separate bookmarks folder for Steemit. I'll show you the steps for doing that below.
Open the Bookmark manager, either from the menu or by pressing Ctrl+Shift+o.
Click the three dots arranged vertically on the top right.
From the drop down menu, select Add new folder.
Give that folder some name and save it. For example, give it the name steemit.
Now you can bookmark a Steemit article to go to the steemit folder. For that just go to Bookmarks or press the star symbol on the URL bar,
and tell the bookmark manager to save that link to the steemit bookmarks folder, as shown below.
You can also notice from the message shown at the bottom here that Google Chrome allows you to store bookmarks across all your devices.
If you now check your bookmarks, you would notice that the steemit article that you bookmarked indeed appears inside the steemit bookmarks folder, as shown below.
I hope you found this article useful and that it will help you to bookmark your articles in a more manageable manner.
