Talking about addiction, most people are addicted to porn, drinking, video games and smoking. But i'm addicted to steemit, the only social media that rewards you for creating great contents while you meet with friends and maybe eventually family.
It's like using one stone to kill three birds
make friends while earning and also contributing to a great community with your wonderful contents.
How It All Started
I was scrolling down my news feed on facebook when I came across a post by
"Get paid to write about the things you love absolutely free"
and he dropped a link to a whatsapp group(African Unchained). I joined the group and was welcomed by 
After the seminar, I was thrilled at their genuineness and readiness to help without asking for anything in return. Right there I told myself, I was finally at the right place, after encountering various mlm and ponzi schemes that ripped men of their hard earn cash.
I finally registered, made my first post which was well appreciated.
Then i swung into research, reading great contents from other bloggers and exploring the steemit community learning new things myself, also making friends on steemit.chat and discord.
I fell in love with the platform and it's members, right now my daily schedule will not be complete if i don't login to steemit to check on new posts, write my own post and make comments on nice posts. I have forgotten about my facebook account, because I enjoy great contents here on steemit from wonderful bloggers around the world.
Oh! What a wonderful platform
All thanks to the Nigeria community on steemit for their support towards helping new members succeed in this great community. You efforts are not in vain.
