Spoil alert !
Couple of days ago, HBO broadcasted the final episode of the 7th season of its series Game of thones entitled "The Dragon and the Wolf". A long episode which was among the most breathtaking and incident-packed in this series, we noticed less actions but back to what characterized the series in the previous seasons (Politics, plotting, alliences, slyness and betrayal)
It was, from start to finish, a beautifully realized 80 minutes episode which reunated many key characters setting up the great war between the living and the army of the dead. The final episode highlights includes:
- The official unveiling of Jon Snow's true lineage, Bran revealed to Sam the blunt facts of the King in the North’s parentage. That he was the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark making him the rightful heir to the iron throne;
- Daenerys adding another front to the show's uncomfortably complicated romances giving us the weirdest Game of Thrones love scene yet;
- The first meeting between the Mother of Dragons and queen Cersei;
- The Stark sisters, Arya and Sansa, teaming up to dispatch the scheming Petyr Baelish who was bloodily hoisted on the sharp end of his own machinations;
- The Night King riding his dragon and marching south with his army after blowing the eastwatch
- Theon Greyjoy redemption intending to go to rescue his sister Yara.
This final episode was among the talkiest episodes of the series it was really nice to find the old Game of Thrones style and we can't wait for the final season next year
