Hi Dear Steemians,
I joined Steem in June, 2017 (and I do thoroughly wish I had joined in June, 2016) and became active straight away. I was quite hooked to the platform until urgent personal committments—including an ever growing relationship—slowed down my momentum a bit.
It's my fifth month on Steemit and right before the completion of it, I have gained some good numbers. On Steemit, numbers can be misleading but they do contain a portion of the truth as well. Good numbers indicate good progress.
Here are some incredibles ones that don't lie much.
2500th Post!
Yes! This is my 2500th post on Steemit. When I say post, I mean both posts and comments because that's what Steemit means by posts too. I am happy to have gone this far. I have seen people leaving after posting less than 10 times. I am not a bot so posting 2500 posts at the average rate of 500 posts per month is something positive.
I am impressed by though. He joined nearly the same time I did but his number of posts are freakishly high. That is why he is more successful on Steemit than me. You can be too by engaging more.
56.444 Reputation
Being in the club of 55 & above feels great. I had a goal to reach 60 by end of this year and it is quite possible. But for that to happen, I am heavily dependent on valuable upvotes.
Does anyone know how to attract bigger upvotes on posts?
56 is what the profile shows but steemnow.com website shows the exact current reputation. That's how I know the .444 part.
1129 Followers
If I had gotten followers through scammy or spammy methods, I wouldn't be mentioning it in this post. All these followers are naturally connected and I am glad to have them all. I have been interacting well and as a result I have developed a nice circle.
There are some who are inactive or even dead. I know that. That's why the number of followers can be such a misleading figure. It does not reflect much about the quality of followership. It also is not a concrete factor of Steemit success; engagement is.
Happy Steeming!
I wish you happy Steeming. I wish we all read each other's posts regularly, interact, support, upvote, resteem, mention in blogs and become actively involved in building a great community and greater relationships.
Witness Shoutout
For his unparalleled support and generosity, I would like to request everyone to vote for Steemit witness.
