I am relatively new to using Steemit, started in Oct 2017, but in these few months I have been very active and learned a lot. Today I'd like to share a "Tiny Tip of the Day" that I've picked up which hopefully will help you prosper here on Steemit.
Introduction:
This is not going to be an exhaustive account of all that I have learned, rather specifically I want to focus on one tiny thing that has helped me, broadly, and hopefully I can do this regularly in a series called "Tiny Tip of the Day". I really feel there are many tips I have learned, that could be of great assistance to the new Steemians coming online each day.
Without further ado.
Tiny Tip of the Day:
When content creating, or curating, the same truth applies: If you enjoy the process then the efforts required will not seem so daunting, or exhaustive, and your content will improve.
So today's "Tiny Tip" is, focus first on creating content that you enjoy and your pleasure will be obvious to all who view your post. If you do this followers and success will come.
Life is too short to waste time on things that fail to stir you up, seek your passions and pour yourself into them. Cherish what time you have on Earth by always aiming to "do what you love, and love what you do". If you are sincere about this approach to life, and put it to work in your efforts on Steemit, your joy and excitement will be obvious to others, and your efforts will more consistently produce a higher quality product.
When you love the thing you are writing about you will naturally put more effort into it because you like it, and the hard work will translate to better quality content.
Not everyone is capable of producing a masterpiece, but your talents WILL shine best in the light of sincerity.
Where to Begin?
The key to this approach is loving what you do, and you can start by ONLY reading, writing, or watching content that genuinely peaks your interest, and then that actually holds your interest all the way through.
If you do that one thing, you will find that you have natural and sincere comments to offer in response to what you have read or seen. And again, that love, joy, and sincerity will manifest itself in improved quality and giving you the maximum opportunity to garner attention, followers and success on Steemit.
Conclusion:
Does Steemit feel like hard work to you? Trust me, it doesn't have to.
Most days I write about 7 things, and truth be told I wish I could do more. There are so many things I am passionate about that the difficulty I experience is in restraining myself and focusing on taking the time to really produce content I can be proud of. But that is a different skill, and discussion for another day, for now just focus on identifying your passions and spending your valuable time on watching, reading and writing ONLY about those topics. That technique will transform your presence on Steemit and your life if you let it.
If each of us implemented this strategy we would dramatically increase the quality of original content and curation on Steemit, and in so doing we would #Grow-Steemit, increase our own joy and successes.
Have an awesome day and God bless you.
