You might be wondering why I am disturbing your peace with this write up, but I do not pray that what happened to Temi should be the same fate that your child shares.
I was fourteen years old so was Temi. Temi was my bestfriend, we meet way back before I can recall. Tall, fair, skinny, a nice oval shaped face, skin so flawless and to top it up her Parents were rich.
Straight to the part that brought you here.
Temi lost her virginity out of sheer curiosity. Just like every other day, we were in her room discussing,about how rich we want to be and who we want to be like. Then Temi asked me what exactly do I think is the opening inbetween my legs.

The next day, I had to go with my driver to pick up Temi for school as scheduled because her parents booked an early flight this morning to go to Hong Kong or so for a business trip... Well I got to her room but the sight made me Puck, I screamed, I screamed so bad.
Who could have done this to Temi, she was bleeding profusely from her vagina. The gate man and my driver ran up, we all went straight to the hospital. I quickly called my mom, she contacted my school {to take an excuse for us. }, my dad and Temi's parents.
Well the summary of the whole story is that I lost Temi that day, the doctor said she was raped so bad that that she lost a lot of blood and many other story I can't recall. My friend was pronounced to be DOA(DEAD ON ARRIVAL).
Looking back now, all I recall is my sweet, tall beautiful friend, I was lonely henceforth till now though, I still consider myself a bad friend for not saying anything to my mom or maybe try to stop her I'm a better form but then I had no actual idea what she was going into.
I felt inspired to share this post tonight because I saw a voting poll on Instagram on how old were you when your Nigerian Parents spoke to you about sex and the lead on the poll broke my heart as I recall my friend who died 4 years ago because she was never given a proper sex education or a hint of it
Parents speak to your children. Try to tell them what they have to know, the world is growing, the children are dying of lack of knowledge.
