I must be missing something on Steemit. Maybe I'm over-thinking it. I put in original content, most of it good stuff I think. I curate a lot, I upvote often and I enter contests. Am I missing something?
What confuses me is that I see people on here with posts about a cat or a picture or a hotel room, something that there are a lot of already on Steem. These posts get hundreds of dollars, even a couple I saw were over $1000, for 1 post.
What is it that I need to do to reach such a plateau that I'm not doing already? Do I just need to do more? I have 2 to 10 posts per day already. Now it does look like these people have more Followers, but some are not Following as many as me. I assume that just because you have more Followers, you won't get more money. You have to have quality Followers. How do you attract quality Followers?
I, and I'm sure others, would like to know the answer to these questions.
