SIMPLE!
Highlight your picture profile
Select "Settings" and you will be redirect to the "Profile Public Settings"
Below "PROFILE PICTURE URL" You enter your profile pictures url in the textbox, You may do this by visiting tinypics.com then upload your photo and convert it to a picture url.
On tinypics.com highlight "Browse" then select it
Choose a photo you want to upload, it can be anywhere from a .jpeg to .png file
Select that photo of your choice then select "UPLOAD"
Scroll down to "Direct Link for Layouts" and below that highlight your profile picture's URL then right-click on your mouse and select "copy"
Last at least go back to your Public Profile Settings of your Steemit account and below "Profile Picture URL" highlight
the textbox then right-click and select "paste"
Next, scroll down and select update and you are done. Your profile picture will reveal itself.
Note: You might have to enter your Steemit password to update your profile settings
