IT's REAL! My first transfer of STEEM AND SBD into pound sterling...

Hi guys.
Last night my Uncle Stephen Hive account@stephenkendal, took me through the process of transferring a small proportion of my STEEM and SBD (steem back dollar)through Bittrex to real life currency, which for me is pound sterling. With the combination of both steem and SBD transferred, gave me £30.
I know to a lot of people, this isn't a lot of money but to me, it means a great deal. This being because I've never known what it's like to earn money through WORKING. Before, money was given to me without me knowing how much work someone would have had to put into EARN it!

It was fascinating to see the whole process, which made me appreciate and realise even more that Steemit is the real deal! I'm no longer living in the dream where I'm thinking to myself "this is too good to be true, surely?"

And the best thing is... This is only just the beginning!! Can you imagine the vast improvements that are going to be made in years to come? When payments will be made available to the author within a click of a button?

I hope you agree when I say this... STEEMIT will become the most powerful social media site ever!

One reason why it'll be so powerful is that it will help people who are in the worst possible situations. I've already seen some tremendous acts of kindness already on steemit which demonstrates what life's all about.

If there is one thing that steemit has taught me and I'm sure will teach everyone eventually is that...
