Poloniex Situation Update

DEPOSITS

Sent 1 SBD to my account , nothing 10 hours later, can't even see "unconfirmed transaction" in the deposits history.

I highly recommend anyone trying to use Poloniex during this time to test it with a small amount and only go ahead with the real transaction if the small amount you sent is successfully received.

WITHDRAWALS

Tried to withdraw 0.02 steem to my steem wallet, almost an hour later (at the time of writing this, will edit if any updates happen) the status is still "Pending"

So, it looks like even though they've re-enabled transactions for steem and SBD, they're still facing issues.

Until things get resolved, avoid using this exchange for either deposits or withdrawals.

However, I will not be depositing in the future as well, as poloniex have time and again "disabled transactions" at crucial times and I no longer see them as 'reliable'.

I'd withdraw when this issue gets resolved but will not be depositing steem or SBD into the exchange any time soon.

Bittrex is a good alternative, but after the recent theft that happened to Hive account@cryptoiskey which was livestreamed, I'm not so keen on bittrex either, so if you know of a decent alternative to these two, please leave a comment ! I'll be glad to take a look, because frankly, poloniex is just getting frustrating right now, it's been almost (or more than?) 10 days since they were able to properly transact steem or SBD.

edit : Looks like they've reverted the status of steem and SBD deposits/withdrawals to "temporarily disabled"
