An educational institution, which attends to the student population of all levels -from kindergarten to university- is the best place to promote Steemit through a Meetup. Such is the case of IUNAV, the Adventist University Institute of Venezuela. With an estimated population of a thousand people, between professors, administrative staff and university students. Our first visit was in February of this year, where we were sharing with the teaching and administrative staff, presenting Steemit as an option to improve the quality of life of the Venezuelans.
It is a topic known worldwide the exodus of Venezuelans to all parts of the world, because of the terrible economic, social and moral crisis that our country lives. It's sad to see friends leave, families split, broken hearts. And Steemit is an option that allows us, at least, to keep step with hyperinflation, to be able to stay in our beloved country and lead a dignified life.
That is why we have proposed to present Steemit in every place in Venezuela. We are a team composed of members of two communities: Promo-Mentors and Pro-Venezuela. We unite to work together to bring this message that can save lives and keep families together.

The first meeting of the morning
Our day began on Wednesday morning, with the first group of students (approximately 200 students) at the university level. We presented our thematic, which contained:
1.-What is Steemit (online work, social network, blockchain Technology)
2.-The registration process
3.-The content to be blogged.
The group was receptive and enthusiastic, especially when they realized that with 3 SBD they can cover the payment of their semester.

Meeting with Technical and Administrative Staff.
The second meeting in the morning held with the management, administrative and technological staff. Our proposal is to make IUNAV the first educational center in Venezuela to accept and manage SBD or Steem as a way to market their services. In this case, the project must be elaborated, with the fiscal/legal implications of rigour; however, the first bases have been laid to turn this idea into a real and concrete fact that allows the students to pay their studies, and the institution to obtain Income in a strong currency that allows them to maintain their cost structure.

After a delicious lunch, we shared with the academic Director, Lic. Luís Caldera, we retake the activities with the second group of students. This time the group was smaller but equally important, about 70 persons.

Meeting with the new steemians friends.
Finally, held our last meeting with the people who, after the first meet up had already registered and are active as new users of Steemit. We were with them for about an hour, clarifying their doubts, especially regarding the issue of structuring and diagramming publications with the use of markdown and/or HTML codes.
It was a very satisfying and enriching experience. Since I met Steemit, I have considered it a blessing and blessings are received and shared; That is what we are doing to bring a grain of sand to the happiness of our Venezuelan brothers who, like us, remain in Venezuelan lands and wish to continue working and living in our country; But we do not want to stay alone, we want many people to know Steemit and continue living in Venezuela, with dignity and a certain degree of tranquility, because we are clear that Steemit can not solve the problems we have (insecurity, scarcity) but at least, It produces relief to know that you can count on a good extra income.
I say goodbye leaving you some pictures of the beautiful campus of IUNAV.
