So, I just joined SteemIt today after creating two wonderfully creative, well thought out, high quality (or so I think) posts. I noticed right away that I obviously posted at a high traffic time because within a few minutes my post was lost in the NEW posts rabbit hole within seconds. I don't have any followers yet, but I'm certain that I will once my work can get some exposure. I did a lot of research before starting, but I want to know what I can do to make sure other Steemians see me. Is there a trick to this? Should I already have a following from some other platform? Is quality content really appreciated, or is it a matter of reciprocal upvoting and commenting? A lil bit of both? I'm just a newby who needs a little guidance. Any help will be appreciated.
