If you live in Venezuela and by any miracle you manage to save a bit of money at the end of the month and you want to place your savings in a more stable currency, most of the people will have to go to the black market to get the US$ (check this post).
The minimum wage in Venezuela is 250000 Bsf and the price of US$ on black market Is currently around 8500 Bsf. SO, we earn roughly 30$ monthly. To put into perspective, one BigMac on mcdonalds cost around 25000 Bsf, so if you worked 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for one month you could buy a total of 10 Big Macs.
PS: Minimum wage is around what most of the Venezuelan people earn. Even University graduated, Well maybe if you are lucky to find a good job you could buy 12 Bic Macs a month.
Thank you steemit for allowing us to make a bit of extra cash !!
