We can use the existing social media to promote our favorite Rising Social Media site, Steemit!
So you found an article on Steemit that you like; great! There are lots of them here. After you UP vote it, why not spread the word about the Steemit post on other social media!
At the end of each article, you find icons that you can click to share the article. You can resteem it, share on Twitter, share on Facebook, and/or share on Linked in. I rarely resteem because I think people check a person's Blog feed mainly to see what They wrote, rather than to see what they resteemed. At some point, there may be a separate tab for what a person resteemed, but now it is all in the same list.
Let's make one simple change to get the #Steemit Hashtag out there!
I more often share on Facebook and Twitter. When I share on Twitter, I make a simple change in the suggested text that Steemit prefills the tweet box with. I change " — Steemit" to "#Steemit" because people like hashtags, and can use them to find tweets on the same hashtag. So for example, I just tweeted Kaylin's (

First, I made the suggested change to create the steemit hashtag. In addition to creating a useful hashtag, it also saves a character!
