This post warmed my heart and really hit a chord with me. I used to be one of those that got caught up in all the bullshit, caring what people thought of me and such. It's funny, you mentioned it, but going to festivals totally changed that attitude. Seeing so many people just being comfortable with who they are and doing what felt right really made me change my mindset. Now I kinda embrace that quote, I think it was Dr. Suess: "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." I'm totally gonna steal that Kerouac quote btw ;). Thanks for the great post!
