Hi fellow steemians.
Are you a minnow to this platform or are you on the track of earning a lot of dollars because you have sculpted your name on the hearts of whales???
No matter which of the two, I guess you must read this post of mine in regards to pursuing steemit regardless of all the discouragements encountered in this journey of ours.
Steemit has been a good outlet of expressing ones deepest thought and reflections.
Steemit has been a good source of income for others due to whales upvotes and resteems everytime steemians posted something so relevant and interesting in this platform.
Steemit has been a good source of gaining friends and opening yourself to the realities of life.
Steemit has been a good source of information, inspirations and education.
Neverthless, in the statements stated above, discouragements are invetable specially to minnows but whales inside like me.
Group of friends of mine are already earning a lot but on my case, i haven't... But why still I pursue my career on steemit?
Why You Should Not Stop Steeming Despite the Discouragements Encountered?
The following are my reasons based on my perspectives.
- You are given the opportunity and privilege to educate steemians.
Being in this field is already a great blessing since it enables us to educate people. Being an elementary teacher, I could say that educating young minds is one of the noblest job since you are stretching your patience and molding the brighter future of the learners. In lieu with this, steemit is providing as a rare opportunity of reconstructing the world for the better version of itself. In what sense? Of course, in the sense of writing our blogs which could enlighten the minds of fellow our steemians.
- You are given the opportunity to inspire.
To become a great source of inspiration requires a great task. It means you really have done something extraordinary which is worthy to be recognized. Here in steemit, it is not as arduous as you think. Why? It is because great story with substance and blogs full of emotions that will stir the audience and the whales are the only elements needed for you touch one's heart. By just posting on our blogs we can influence the others to do better in their job, education, and life in general.
You are given the opportunity to broaden ones social life.
We have to get out from our shells in other words we have to get out from our comfort zones. Nothing different will happen if we will just keep doing what we are doing from time to time. But here in Steemit, though you are just writing posts on your blogs but the reward in return is , you are gaining friends from your own city, country, and even international friends. Unlike facebook, in which users are use to posting something to give the public the authority to somehow see their private lives, here in steemit, you post something for the sake of steeming. Your posts will be notice by fellow steemians, and eventually it will be followed, upvoted, commented and resteem by others which will connect yourself to them. Thus friendship, will be build.
You are given the opportunity to express yourself freely.
Living in a democratic country gives us the freedom yo do anything we want but on the other hand, it requires great responsibilty. As the cliche goes, "When your freedom starts othe freedom ends." It may sound deep for others but it only mean so simple. It only implies that accountability and responsiblity must be given consideration upon taking actions. So here in Steemit, we are given the freedom to express ourselves freely but in an educational sense. Steemit serves as our outlet of letting the world know what we feel, what we think and what are our perspectives on a certain issue.
- Steemit has been a good source of income.
Though as minnows but whales inside, earning dollars is realy a hard task. You get envy about others because of the wallet they own. I can not deny this fact, that there are instances that I get envy too. In my post in which i already make used thousands of brain cells but earn nothing in return. Nevertheless, i push myself to keep posting amidst this major discouragement of this platform. I keep reminding myself that I am called a Steemian because I have the heart to inspire and educate fellow steemians in my posts.
Pursuing one's dream and aspirations in life is a great thing to lookforward. Remember, great things come to those who patiently wait. So fellow minnows but whales inside, bear in mind that we are in this platform to inspire, write and touch the lives of others.
So steemians, i know we are feeling the same way , so amidst these discouragements that we are facing in this platform, we should stay strong for we have the heart to steem. Thus, all of us should keep steeming!
