The new #reputation system is an interesting addition to Steemit, helping filter out bots and other rabble. (like me ?) Nonetheless, I think that the launch could have been done a little better - have everyone start with a clean slate, I got a -6 (#renegade #thuglife) and I had no idea that any of my previous posts got flagged. This brings me to another point - we need some kind of a reputation screen to show us how our reputation is evolving.Or at the very least a notification for flags.I just hope that low reputation decreases post exposure, otherwise friendless people like me could be stuck in the reputation pit forever.
At this point, it just looks like another addition to give the whales more power :(
