Once upon a time, all alone in the empty steemit ocean, there was a little baby dolphin looking for some mates to play with.

This little baby dolphin was living in the waters around Phuket, a tropical paradise island and wondering about how art reflects the time spirit.
Along his journey he met many other dolphins, and while little baby dolphin was only there to play, all the other dolphins wanted to teach him all about Steemit and there was so much to learn. Luckily there was also plenty of fun to have ... what a journey.
Listening to 
Hive account@streetstyle, who was trying to keep everybody optimistic, was a good start to get in a good mood, as there are more and more dolphins in the steemit ocean, and 
Hive account@dwinblood, he too wants to help steemit grow and explains what he's doing himself to do just that. And 
Hive account@bacchist was explaining to the other dolphins how they could do that by turning BTC into Steem Power. Luckily 
Hive account@anca3drandom was promoting Steemit in a creative way to keep Steemit joyful.

Baby dolphin did learn a lot from 
Hive account@alexgr, he's such a smart dolphin, he ranks really high on the top 100 earners list, for Steem-IQ. And after 5 weeks on steemit, 
Hive account@cryptos gives a very detailed report on his own achievements, which gives a very realistic perspective on what to expect. Even 
Hive account@papa-pepper talked about his own stats to give everybody a little insight into the voting behavior of his followers. While with the vizualitions 
Hive account@clement made it was easy for our little dolphin to understand what happened in the last 2 weeks.
While 
Hive account@mindover doesn't seem to enjoy reading all that much, he prefers to listen to podcasts, but with such a fine collection, you can't blame him.
By now our little baby dolphin could surely do with some coffee and 
Hive account@diana.catherine always agrees with that, she's addicted to coffee, while 
Hive account@biophil knows how to make coffee, but nobody makes octopussy in the coffee like 
Hive account@smailer does!

It was in the coffee-shop that little baby dolphin started the rumor that Jimmy Carr has a secret account on Steemit under the username 
Hive account@glitterfart ... but don't tell anybody!
But of course, when the new 'voting slider' was announced, it created a frenzy filled with excitement, which you can see in the comments when 
Hive account@razvanelulmarin explains what the voting slider does. But some other dolphins had some some doubts and disappointment, 
Hive account@knircky sumed up the confusion it created, and then little baby dolphin swam into 
Hive account@venuspcs who was reminding everybody that she has rules to downvote ... she seemed a bit angry, so little baby dolphin quickly went on and found some of the serious dolphins, like 
Hive account@krnel who thinks the voting slider is a good thing and 
Hive account@creationlayer who seems to be the only one who actually knows exactly what the update was all about.
Well, maybe 
Hive account@sauravrungta can help him to find a balance between the heart and the brain or 
Hive account@rea can show him the bright-sight, as she explains so graciously (in English and Chinese) how it brings us all closer together.
Meanwhile, in the Bavarian Alpes

On top of it all, there's already a new feature on it's way, 
Hive account@stealthtrader tells all the other dolphins all there's to know about the upcoming notifications feature. And as if that's not enough, 
Hive account@joele has even more ideas, like adding a discussion section to the top menu, for short notices, posts that don't need a high reward, but a lot of active discussion, you know ... to discuss whether or not we should have a discussion ... It all became a bit too much for our little baby dolphin ...
And that's why our little baby dolphin was happy to run into 
Hive account@paco's post with some beautiful steemit design ideas, not for the developers to do, but for you ... and he even made a little video tutorial for it ... so cute!
But when 
Hive account@intelliguy left the earth and elevated to a new consciousness ... little baby dolphin knew it was time to go to bed and get some sleep.
