Another Day, Another City.
Today we are in Amsterdam just outside the De Oude Kerk Church letting as many people know about steemit as possible, this was the least chaotic spot I could find which meant I could talk to people in relative peace. For those that don't know, I am doing a European roadshow in which I will be stopping at all major cities from Scandinavia all the way down to Lisbon, Portugal where I will be attending Steemfest.
As usual, I was giving out free stuff to get peoples attention as I believe this is much more effective than just standing there shoving flyers in peoples faces, this method seems to work a treat as people are much more willing to listen to you and once I tell them they can "Get Paid For Being Social" their eye's light up. I usually give out coffee and cookies but it was a hot day so I thought water would work better and it was a big hit.
Four New Steemians.
I was really on fire today and I truly believe half the people I spoke actually wanted to join, the more roadshows I do the easier it gets and more confident I am, this must have shown because today I was pulling people in and they were really hanging around to hear all of what I had to say.
When you believe in something as much as
I believe in steemit then people listen to your every word.
If some random person tries to sell me something or shove a flyers in my face I have no time for them what so ever which is why I am surprised that I can get so many people to stop and listen to me, especially in this day and age where no one has time for strangers, this has really got me thinking why and how do I get away with it, the conclusion I came up with, is that I'm not selling anything, I'm just telling them how amazing steemit is and I genuinely feel that steemit can change the world we live in.
I think this type of promotion is worth its weight in steem as I believe word of mouth is the most effective form of advertising.

This whole promotional tour is an experiment, I am hoping that by the time it gets to steemfest in Portugal then I will have a much better idea of what is needed to continue my mission of spreading steemit to the masses, and hopefully I will attract some attention from some big players who want me to continue this work I am doing and maybe help me fund it, my dream would be to get a delegation loan so I can upvote good content from the people I meet as an incentive to join.
We had planned on doing a roadshow in Hamburg but after driving around, getting stuck in traffic for three hours looking for a spot to park our tinyhouse truck we admitted defeat, the next roadshow will hopefully be in Paris so watch out for that and if you haven't seen the Copenhagen roadshow then follow the link and support it as much as possible.
