Well you know that sucks getting told that you’re being let go from a company right when you plan to start working for most of the summer. I was recently laid off from my work because they didn’t feel that I was committed, and that as a 17-year-old boy I would have to give up my whole summer and work full time. This shocked me at first but then made me realize, hey you know what this is a sign. I don’t want to be working for someone who does this to their employees and I think it’s a good time to move on because I know I can find a better place to work at. Having this happen has made me look at the bigger picture of what was happening and realize that it took me getting laid off to notice what my employer was actually asking for.
