A tagline can play an important role in the success of a business, organization, or community. While I've seen several examples of fellow Steemians creating mock taglines for Steemit, we do not have a tagline. Because of the structure of Steemit, we are unlikely to ever fully adopt one either. However, generating additional interest in Steemit and growing the network will rely heavily on marketing and branding.
In other words, we need a tagline that new users can understand and something we can be proud to embrace as members of this community.
One of my favorite services that I provide is tagline creation for small businesses and nonprofits. Taglines, also known as mottos, are surprisingly difficult to master, but extremely valuable when done right. Just look at Nike's "Just Do It" or Apple's "Think Different"--both have helped set their brands apart from others and have become something that their users embrace.
While on a recent plane ride, I decided to draft a list of tagline ideas for Steemit. In the comments below, I'd love to get your feedback on which tagline you like best, and offer your best tagline for Steemit.
