Oh no he's paying for upvotes!!!!!

Since I came to Steemit people have really frowned on using bid-bots. But honestly I have been looking at the math behind it and it actually makes sense. Here why I think so:

I want more SteemPower

Since I started here on Steemit my main goal has been to earn as much SteemPower as possible. Having SP gives more influence in the platform and a more valuable upvote. I have found that when using most of these bidbots you end up getting paid out the same amount of SBD you used to buy the vote. Sounds like a waste of time right? WRONG!!!!! If you pay 1 Sbd and receive a 2$ plus upvote when you receive your payout you will have 1 SBD and roughly 1SP (not counting the 25 percent that goes to curators). So even though you end up with the same amount in liquid you gain SP!!!!!

I want more exposure!!!!!

If you have the funds you can boost your post to a high level putting it on the trending page. We all know that landing on the trending page is a guaranteed way to gain more followers. This may not be a lot to some but I once gained 200+ followers in one day from one post. Gaining followers isn't easy on any social media site but here on Steemit it isn't very hard. Now I'm not saying that getting them is super easy but there are ways to attract users without doing tons of work.

I haven't used bid-bots in the past other than to test it out but I think I will start using them from now on especially since Steem isn't super expensive yet. We all know that Steem is grossly undervalued and will one day reach prices we only dreamed of. So that's why I feel like I'm in a desperate race to accumulate as much Steem as possible. We all saw Steem reach 8 bucks without any major news or updates. What do you think the price will be if HF20 comes and SMT's are released? NO NOT THE MOON BUT THE NEXT GALAXY!!!!!

In conclusion

I'm not telling anyone to go use bid-bots I'm just giving my opinion on them and I guess I have been looking at it the wrong way for a while. I believe that in the long run things will balance themselves out here on Steemit and the squabbles of today will seem petty tomorrow. Let me know what you think in the comments!!!
