Today I am here to talk about why everyone needs a mentor if they are to succeed on this platform. Before I go ahead, I want to introduce to you my biggest mentor on steemit. She is called . Below are some of the pictures of
her.
That is
That's me and my mentor in the pictures above.
So who is a mentor? A mentor is someone that you look up-to in any business, someone that has made it already in the business and you believe if you follow their foot steps, you can also get there.
Personally, I chose to be my mentor because of the following reasons:
- She is the one that introduced me to the Steemit platform and she is a close friend of mine too, so I find it easy to interact with her and tell her all the problems am facing on the platform.
- She is one person that has succeeded in the business in a short period of time, so I felt that her being my mentor, am bound to be just like her.
- She is the kind of lady that sees a lot in steemit, she gives me the courage to keep blogging and doing my best even at my weakest times. She always tells me, look here
you can make it.
- She keeps sharing with me all the updates I could have missed seeing on the platform, she tells me about wonderful assignments and challenges that I need to participate in.
- She has introduced to me wonderful people on steemit. People that I have followed and they have become good friends and also people that have inspired me a lot on the platform. She introduced me to wonderful people like
and
. Am glad to have met these two people also.
What am trying to bring out here is that we all need mentors on steemit. Someone who will bring you up at your lowest, someone that is going to tell you how they did it to get where they are, someone that is going to motivate you and keep you steeming even when you feel things ain't working out. Look around and find that person. If you must succeed, I believe it's better to do it as a team and not just do it alone.
I want us to all find that mentor, look around and get that one person and let them guide you on how to do things better
Lastly I want to thank all the other mentors I have on steemit, that is to say: the entire Ugandan team, ,
, and all the steemians that wish me the best. I love you all.
