I've had the pleasure of working on many season of American Idol (including the next season on ABC) and I would like to share what it looked like from the stage looking out to the audience. This night crowned Trent Harmon the season 15 winner.

This is a shot of a very excited group backstage before the winner was announced.
Once Trent won it was seriously pandemonium! First pic I was alongside good friends Nigel Lythogoe and Randy Jackson. Been around "the Dawg" for years.
Then there is this Goddess who was very sweet to us Editors. She had a million people trying to get pictures with her (maybe a million is a stretch but she is decently popular)
Another one of my favorite people. Genuinely kind and small enough to fit in your pocket. Can't say I wasn't dancing to her music in the 80s and 90s! Paula Abdul and the dawg takin some photos with friends and idol fanatics!
Also caught up with Kelly Pickler, who is beautiful, funny and talented! Such a sweet gal.
Last but not least, couldn't leave out perhaps one of the most famous idol's of all time. William Hung! and yes she bang she bang, and I did go crazy! He is hilarious and wealthy for being a terrible singer!
A very fun night indeed and hopefully you enjoyed a little behind the scenes from the idol finale!
