I had the pleasure to review 2017 STEEMIT ROADMAP FILE presented by Ned and Dan. This is a very exciting document to Analyze to know what is going on behind the scenes and where STEEMIT is going in near future. It helps many decide whether to invest in STEEM or not. I will present some salient points that are of great interest.

A very uplifting statement as you review the rest of this post. They are not stopping here. There are plans for 2017 and beyond that are yet not mentioned. For example a statement made is One thing that may seem missing from this document is our communications plan for serving the existing social community—we haven’t forgotten about you.
I am encouraged by this as communication platforms such as as email, messaging apps etc will be highly desirable. Person to person communication, community to community interaction that is more personalized will be very welcome.
2.This document is composed of three sections, one each for Steemit, Inc: the organization, steemit.com: the social media application, and the decentralized Steem Blockchain and Platform.
3.....we will have created a permissionless, censorship-resistant data layer for the entire Internet..
This part is taken from the goals section. It is exceptionally important to note the words permissionless and censorship resistant.The ideals remain as they should exist in a free society and I like that a lot. I am in favor of as much freedom as possible. Ideas of censorship are first link of the chain that may bind you.

4. •Useful blockchain data microservices for both internal and external developers to accelerate application development.
• Highly available public service endpoints for third-party developer quickstart
UI: Design language overhaul for all user-facing application UIs.
• Apps: We’re developing iOS and Android native mobile applications.
Great mobile apps ( to the point of having all functionality on a mobile device)and bringing in third party developers will lead to amazing growth at exponential speeds. Notification systems will enhance active user base and interaction.
BLOCKCHAIN
5. • Feature: Greatly reduced blockchain account creation costs, minus the spam.
• Feature: Arbitrary splitting of post rewards, for revenue splitting.
While there were other plans mentioned, I think users will be delighted by these 2 features. Less cost and enhanced functionality is awaited by all . We are likely to see influx of investment into STEEM. Revenue splitting plan details are not available and I am not certain of the ideas but I certainly think we should understand that rewards on this platform should depend on investment in STEEM plus great content. Although as a minnow I am disappointed by my rewards, the platform should be seen as a business supporting and developing all aspects of business. The more you invest, the better your rewards.

Sounds like the plans are for a great team to come together and work through a great system to enhance the experience for all of us in all directions.
There is everything here that a company needs to do to move forward rapidly in the right direction. I can foresee unimaginable growth if all that is planned takes shape. The guidance is great. Momentum looks good. I will highly advise to be an active investor on the platform. I intend to invest shortly for the longterm. Don't let this opportunity pass you by.
