I totally agree with you. When people go around mindlessly buying high-end cars they stupidly overlook the basic factors.
A high-end car is a high maintenance toy. It will forever eat into your pocket. An expensive brand car needs good roads and open speed limits.
You need an environment of good driving ethics. Otherwise one scratch or dent can create a massive hole in your pocket....

In my opinion High-end expensive cars are useless if you are not living in Beverly Hills or some High-end place with money to throw.
Also, all machines have a life that deteriorates and a price value that depreciates.
Much better to invest where money grows. Like in Steem and cryptocurrency as you say.
