OFW or Overseas Filipino Workers is what we call filipino's who works abroad I myself is a OFW who currently resides in Abu Dhabi U.A.E, and as far as I knowy ou can find a filipino now in every country in the world, that is not restricted to work or to go to, but then in this topic I research facts about OFW around the world and here is my list:
1. Saudi Arabia is no. 1 destination for OFW
POEA (Philipine Overseas Employment Agency) data show that for over 5 years, the highest number of OFWs was deployed in Saudi Arabia, followed by the United Arab Emirates.
In 2015, most of the countries belonging to the top 10 destinations of OFWs were in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

2. Most of the OFW is Domestic Helper
There are least 7 major occupational groups of Filipinos deployed abroad but no.1 of them is Domestic Helper

3. Total Number of OFWs Estimated at 2.4 Million (Results from the 2015 Survey on Overseas Filipinos)
The number of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who worked abroad at anytime during the period April to September 2015 was estimated at 2.4 million. Overseas Contract Workers (OCWs) or those with existing work contract comprised 97.1 percent of the total OFWs during the period April to September 2015. The rest (2.9 %) worked overseas without contract.
