Have you just created an account and have no idea what to do next? Do you want to make money but don't know how? Well, we can help you get adjusted to Steemit!

Steem Power

You don't have to have steem power but if you do you can get more money on your posts and can give more money on other people posts. There are rankings on how much steem power you have, I am at #463. Once you have a lot of money in Steem power you can get into these rankings. But for now you can just to to make money by creating posts.

Wallet

In your wallet you can see your tokens like your Steem, Steem Power, Steem Dollars, savings, and history. You can put in money/ take money out there.

How Steemit is organized

This is what Steemit should look like when you first log on.

There are five sections you can click at the top of the page. Home, new, trending, and promoted. When you start following people the home page fills up with their posts. You can now see the new posts that they made. The New section means The new posts that everyone uploaded, (you don't have to be following them to to there posts). Hot is the popular posts at the moment. Trending is the popular posts of the day. Promoted just mean that people promoted it with steem dollars, (the money they earned on Steemit).
When you click on your Blog, it displays your posts, beginning with most recent.
Posts shows you everything you have submitted.
Replies shows you any comments you have received from others.

How to create your first post

How do you create a post? When you at Home on Steemit, at the top right corner there is a button that says, "Submit a Story". If you click on that you should be at this:

After you get this far you need to create a post and submit it!

Getting Paid to Vote and Comment

This work includes voting on posts and it also includes commenting. You can get paid for making good comments, just as you can get paid for voting on them.

How to make words larger:

A hashtag is this: #
You can you 1 hashtag before a sentence to make it large
You use 2 hashtags to make it little smaller
You use 3 hashtags to make it even smaller
You use no hashtags to make it normal size. Like so:

How to get Photos:

When find the picture on Google you want to post on Steemit, you click on it and it should say "View Image". Once you click on that you left click with you mouse and click, "Copy Image". You go back on your post and left click then click, "Paste". The image take 5 seconds to load then it should appear.

How to Italicize words

To Italicize words you'll need to put these stars around the sentence/word, * Hello *. (Make sure there's no spaces or it wont work, correct way -->) Hello

Good title/tags

You'll need a good title to make people interested in your posts. When you at Steemit, on the right you can see Tags and Topics, if you want you post to be popular you want to chose your topics from there.

Patience

If you don't make a lot of money on your first post, don't worry! It takes time to build a reputation. If you keep posting more and more you'll make more money from the posts.
