My mind doesnt stop and I also get very overwhelmed, to the point where I sometimes get anxiety and then in turn dont get what I need to get done. If that makes any sense?
Any ideas that are working for you? For me, I like going for a walk and giving gratitude. Always helps a bit and keeps me present.
I have also found when im tired my mind is much more restless and unfocused, so good sleep is essential for me.
