Let's face it, everyone likes being liked. If you're on Steemit you prefer to be upvoted because you posted great content. I feel somewhat, that one's post, when an honest post, is a true reflection of the author. Of course we can write fiction, but I'm referring to posts about life, love, friends, family, pets and such. We get a glimpse into that person's personal mind set. When we pass someone on the street or even see them on the job, they may just put on a strong face and hide the turmoil they secretly feel inside. Steemit seems to be an outlet of sorts for people to vent and rant about topics that are important to them personally. A place to be creative and let their minds soar...
I have personally invited at least a dozen friends to join Steemit. They join, post an intro and follow up with two or three great posts in a row. Then they are completely ignored. Most make like 2 cents. Then, they never come back. It seems that if you didn't join early, you're destined for failure, just saying. I love the idea of Steemit, but it is really unfair right now on how folks are paid.
Don't get me wrong, I love Steemit and want my friends on here posting and believing in it as well. What my fellow Steemians is the answer?
