I joined to Steemit about one month ago,
At the very beggining my mind was like, how is possible to get paid just for blogging whatever in a web site?
also I never believed in Cryptocurrencies. I had the chance years ago to invest in bitcoin at the time it was really cheap, and I didnt.
I was like, I wont be giving away to some internet scam to make someone rich.
interesting now the bitcoin is stronger than ever, and the worst part is that I missed opportunity to be millionare just with a few bucks.
now keep in mind that in my country there is some many people trying to scam people with "low investment and big profits after a few months" there is a way to call those kind of people in my country, we call them: Juega vivo!
the most close translation in english will be something like: be aware!
getting back to business, now after one month of reading, and absorbing information regarding crypto currencies.
now I am really sure that hard money will dissapear anytime.
now that will have some pros and cons (like everything)
the big con that I can see is that the goverments will want to regulate the cryptocurrencies. after the regulation they will overtake the full controll of it.
now probably your question is: how will they regulate the cryptocurrencies?
my first tought is by hiring hackers to perform cyber crimes and request cryptocurrencies to stop attaks, (that happen last month, over 70,000 users affected by the ramsomware attak) and no goverment will take the blame for those attaks, however that is their door to regulate and control cryptocurrencies.
we are reaching the real digital era when nobody will need, hard money (paper or plastic)
no banks, because we will be able to handle our money in digital wallets such as paypal and some others.
my advice: Do Not Let The Goverments To Regulate and Control the Cryptocurrencies, if they do, our freedom will be none.
