Hello! They say hard work pays and indeed I have been able to see a product of hard work. Early July, that was last month I proposed in my heart to get to the reputation 50 of which I'm so happy to say I did. The journey wasn't that easy but it was indeed worthy. Two days back I got a message from a friend and the message was a congratulating message on my advancement to reputation 50 of which I was surprised of. I had to check my profile and I was so wowed that I finally saw the reputation 50.
My steemit journey started in February though. I registered my account January 2018. However, I started blogging in February, though I wasn't that consistent till towards april ending. I joined steemit because of the earnings and I surely know most if not all steemians came to steemit for the same reason. When I started blogging, my earnings were very low. I once used about 8hours in creating a post and I got only 0.12$ as an upvote, my introductory post earned me 0.05$. It got to a point that I practically gave up on steemit. Until April that I started searching through the blockchain and I start realising that indeed there are so many treasures in the blockchain. When I go through other steemians posts I normally end up with a positive spirit. The moment I changed my mentality of just getting the earnings, that moment my activity on steemit increased and also my earnings too.
Steemit has indeed been a great help to my life. Through the blockchain, I have been able to make friends which I will say they are indeed amazing. I will be forever grateful to for introducing me to the blockchain. I learn new things every day ranging from the way of life of people in different parts of the world, psychological and scientific knowledge and many others. For these reasons, I am grateful to steemit.

I was no writer before I joined the blockchain. Although some beautiful words or should I say ideas do come into my head but I never pen them down until I became a steemian. I never knew I could be a writer, I never thought people would love and appreciate my works. Being a steamian brought about what I never thought of into reality.
I have heard lots of complaints from some steemians stating that steemit haven't been fair to them. I always do ask this question if steemit hasn't been favourable to you, then why are you still on steemit? Yeah, steemit does have it's ups and downs which I am sure everyone knows of but we should also learn to appreciate the privileges we have gotten from being a steemian.
I got to reputation 50 through my little efforts and I'm also trying to put more efforts into the blockchain. I hope that before this year gets to an end I will get to reputation 60. I believe by working harder and smartly I will be able to achieve that. I'm also trying to invite those around me into the blockchain, that's the little way I know that I can promote steemit for now and I will encourage all steemians to promote steemit in the little way they can.
I'm happy to attain the reputation 50.
