Whether you joined steemit before one day or one year, You were a newbie in this platform. Every newbie expects that they will do something extraordinary, but the reality is the complete opposite for most of them including me.

After getting approved the first expectation of a newbie is getting thousands of upvote in his first post. Every newbie (including me) posts his first post expecting he will become popular and earn huge money. But the reality is nobody become popular with a single post.

Joining Different Promotional Channel:

If you have joined steemit.chat then you may know about promotional channels present there. There are many promotional channels which may give you some upvotes. Many newbie things if they join some promotional channel and ask for upvotes they will become rich, but the reality is if you even get 50 upvotes from them you will not earn 3$.

Making random followers:

After posting the first post on steemit, many newbies make random followers thinking that it will make them popular and they will get a huge number of upvote. But the reality is making random follower is useless.

Spamming the comment section:

This one is the most common mistake every new steemian do after joining steemit to earn some bucks. But the reality is spamming the comment section will not give any money. It is true that we can get some steem by commenting in some popular post( I have seen a steemian getting 30$ just by commenting) but you should do it in a limit.

Getting screwed by steemcleaners:

Many newbies choose the short cut way and copy others content to become rich in one night and get screwed by steemcleaners. Copying some others content and posting on steemit is punishable if you do this your reputation will be lost. So never copy paste others content.

Result:

After failing even after using above methods they give up and that's the main mistake nobody should do. Success is not a game of one night. Hard work is the key to success.
