You were using my post to direct traffic toward your initiative. It was an advertisement, pure and simple. You are right: I don't see at all how it relates to the discussion at hand. It disrupts it and attempts to draw focus to your post and your blog. I have dropped links in comments before, but unless there's a clear correlation, I always ask permission first.
