I Realize this a Decentralized ,Non-Censored Platform but...
Shouldn't the spirit of being an ethical Steemian be our number one priority when interacting with each other ??
I just came from this guy's blog and he was talking about Trump's State of the Union Address. Evidently he is pro Trump. He was talking about another female Steemian who took issue with Trump. So he decided to Flag her for her Post that was somewhat anti- Trump. And thought it was humorous that he did not use full power to do it ( so it wouldn't hurt her that much he said )
Aren't We Above This ??
I mean com'on guys if someone is plagiarising or using racist comments or threatening others ...then sure they should be penalized. But penalized because they have different political views than you ??
So What Should We Do ?
I guess a person could Flag this person for Flagging another person for such benign and innocent intentions. This is a free thinking, decentralized platform, but where would that get us...everyone just start a Flagging War ??
Iam relatively new here but I hope as a participatory spirit of fellow humans on this wonderful platform that we can all hold ourselves to a higher standard than this. And we consistently strive to do that and encourages to do the same
Maybe Iam wrong ? I don't know. What do you fellow steemians think ??
