Thank You Steemit for 1,000 Followers
Hey Steemit, just wanted to make a post to say thank you for everyone who's followed me, upvoted my posts and supported me on here. So happy to have found this site and to have become a part of this great community.
I first got on Steemit sometime around mid June of last year 2017. I instantly fell in love with the platform. If I'm being completely honest I will say over the past 7 or 8 months my attention and interest in Steemit has ebbed and flowed. At times I've been super enthusiastic and at other times I've gotten discouraged, but I'm still here and still going strong and am encouraged by the growth, adoption, and improvement we've seen in the platform.
It's really amazing to see all the platforms/apps that have been built on top of Steemit such as DTube, SteepShot, and DLive among others. It's also great to see the adoption were getting in terms of numbers of new users as well as a lot of big Youtubers comming over like 
To show my appreciation and as kind of a fun thing to do I wanted to give away 5 Steem and 100% upvotes to the first 5 people who participate in my new daily photo contest
Basically what it is everyday I'm running a photo contest. In this contest everyone is a winner, everyday everyone who participates will get an upvote from me with the winner getting a 100% upvote. I'm also going to be giving Steem and SBD to especially noteworthy submissions. The whole point of this contest is not about having the most polished photo, but more about spontaneity and getting creative. So far I've been running the contest 2 days and have only had one submission so to the first 5 people who partake in today's contest I'm going to give each a 100% upvote and 1 Steem each. I know it's not huge but it's what I have liquid in my wallet.
