Ok so 6 months ago my friend , recommended Steemit to me. I have known her a good number of years, and trust her judgement completely, so much so that she is also going to be the editor for my books when ready for publication. However i couldn't get my head around the whole Steemit thing, so when i signed up in September i did nothing until 6 weeks ago.
I am mentioning this because i have seen her tagged a few times recently and feel i "owe her one". I love writing, but i am dyslexic and i am not knowledgeable with publishing and she has helped me alot with my confidence in these areas, also helping me gain a back bone. Especially seeing as i am a bit of a soft sap!
Now you will have seen from my blogs that i have been updating as i have gone along but i am learning everyday about technological stuff, as i'm by far no social media expert.
Today i have been learning about tagging, and how to tag properly. It blows my mind, i still haven't got my head around upvoting or curation yet. I think i'm still a bit medieval.
The point is despite my lack of knowledge 3 massive things have come out of the last week.
1) I am getting so much more feedback than ever before.
2) I have actually looked in my personal back account and found earnings that have been desposited, physical earnings that i need to put on my self assessment! (I melted my brain working out how to do it!)
3) I've developed an exciting process for my story writing, as well as blogging about anything and everything i want.
