The year 2014 has taken as the year of outbreak of Ebola virus. According to the World Health Organisation, more than 7500 people lost their lives in 2013 due to Ebola virus. This virus was named as Ebola because the symptom of this virus was first seen in a Village near Ebola river in Congo in 1976. This virus spread to human beings from a species of bats. In the begining the Ebola infection was detected in the Guchek village of Guinea, an African nation, on December 6, 2013.Later, the Ebola virus spread to Sierra Leon, Liberia and Nigeria. This virus transmits through contact with an Ebola affected person, not through water or air. High fever, uneasy feeling at throat, muscle pain and headache are the common symptoms of Ebola virus, which can be seen for three weeks. It causes haemorrhage and makes the central nervous system inactive resulting into the death of the persons.
