We are new to Steemit.com and would like to thank for suggesting we take a serious look at this social media site. For disclosure purposes
does work part time for us in the Youth In Transition Program.
We are not calling this an "introduceyourselfpost", because we want to get a picture taken of some of our staff in front of our office sign with the Steemit logo.
We are a small organization and as with many smaller non-profit organizations resources are limited. We did receive some some timely Steem as donations to get us started here on Steemit.
We hope to post a more thorough description of our organization and services we provide. We also hope this provides us the venue to provide information on independent living and disability issues. Our staff bring a lot of experience in the field of rehabilitation to the table.
It has been difficult to find much information on non-profit organizations on Steemit. We found a post by that was encouraging. She has indicated she may do a follow-up post to one she did months ago. We also found the following post that was encouraging: https://steemit.com/giving/@bethalea/taking-the-reins, and I know there were a few other posts as well. Hope to hear from others here on Steemit that might provide us with suggestions.
