Hey everyone, so there's a really cool Steemit application called Steepshot which is basically the instagram version of Steemit. Aside from the nicer layout and writing a longer caption being less important. There is one major advantage and major disadvantage to this.
Advantages To Steepshot
- You can add much more than 5 hashtags to your posts on Steepshot
- I believe the limit is 20, not 100%
- Only see posts uploaded to the Steepshot community
- this is a good filter to find good account that will be posting on Steepshot regularly
- Your posts are seen by the entire Steemit community and the niche community of people on Steepshot
- Mobile app for Steepshot making it very appealing for mimicking there what you're doing on Instagram
Disadvantages To Steepshot
- Your posts still show up on Steemit, so your hashtag spam is shown, AND you cannot edit your post via normal Steemit, because when you try to update it says you're using too many tags on your post.
I think it's a really cool idea. Just getting started on it and I'm excited to see where it goes. Hopefully it will get going when more people are on the platform!
