Generally when I write a new Steemit blog I will post them to two Steemit related groups and write unique text to go along with my links. For a recent blog that I wrote I posted on two additional groups because the content was relevant to the groups. So if anything I should have gotten a spammer warning, but the next time I try to log into Facebook it tells me "Let's Check Your Device for Malicious Software". No Facebook. Let's not. I have antivirus, firewall, system cleaner software and a couple privacy related browser plugins. Despite what Facebook is asserting, there is no malware on my computer.
So I downloaded their stupid Kaspersky program. I opened it as instructed and it just shows a spinning circle and does nothing. I even tried running it in compatability mode and running it as an administrator. If flat out does nothing.
A second possibility was a comment that I made to my friend about being very targeted for advertising. For example, I like Rick & Morty (which you'll see in an upcoming post) and I like Blink-182. So I get an advertisement that combines the two. And I've had other experiences such as applying for a job of CareerBuilder from a company I've never heard of and then suddenly seeing them in my suggested YouTube videos. Or clicking on a restaurant in Google Maps and seeing an ad on Facebook for them 5 mintues later. So I don't know if Facebook would target you for saying anything bad about them.
I've tried clearing my cache, history, cookies, etc and tried using other browsers on my PC. I can access my Facebook account from my phone but not my phone. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do?
