I'm not sure if it's old age, my own stupidity, or maybe one big long brain fart, but I am having one hard time learning the ins and the outs of Steemit and all it's other extensions. Even the crypto currency used is all new to me.
This picture represents my brain at the moment, navigating Steemit. Some of you may find this amusing, me, well it's very frustrating.
As with anything new, I've been doing some research, I think I've watched more videos and read more information trying to learn about Steemit, so I don't look like a complete idiot, than I read and studied all those years in school, which by the way were boring. I have found a few helpful videos, and for those who made them, I owe you a great big THANK YOU!
One of those videos you can find here:
Created by a gentleman using the moniker of Titus Frost, who you can find here: https://steemit.com/@titusfrost
I think credit is due to those who help, and help, he has. There were a few others, well, many others, too numerous to mention, I only mentioned who I did, because so far I found out more in his tutorial than the others.
As to anyone new, I believe it is up to them to try and find those answers and what it is you should and shouldn't do. research is key, and with the information available, on the Internet, you can basically find out ANYTHING today, some things maybe we shouldn't even know!
Please don't let the "new" fool you, I have been blogging for several years, and have two sites of my own that I add to weekly, sometimes more. I just find with any new site there is always a learning curve, and at the moment I seem to be at the beginning of that curve!
Learning the ropes here, is actually learning to earn, because here you can earn and that is one of the things that attracted me here. Adding a little extra to a small income is always a good thing, and a better thing is being able to do it with something you truly enjoy, and in my case, writing has always been something I enjoyed.
I sometimes annoy my wife when I'm writing, she will be speaking to me as i write and I'm in my own little world and don't hear her, or don't comprehend what she has said, so I find myself frequently asking her, "What, what did you say?" depending on how often this has happened at the time depends on whether she will tell me or not! I would have thought she would have been use to this by now, but I guess not!
This is not my wife, but she has the same look when she gets annoyed at me...
Well if you have read this, I thank you, hopefully in the near future we can interact and learn a few things together!
